Within the week, the class and I discussed the importance of being a leader and being a role model for others. We delved in topics that would further connect what is conveyed. At the beginning of the week, the class, we were concluding the research on what the Power of Identity and what makes that Identity. Being leaders the day of presenting an idea of what the Power of Identity really is, we stood in courage to speak our ideas and our findings in understanding the Power of Identity. After the presentation, each student's group was brought in the hall for development with their strengths and weakness to become stronger. Later, we watched a video based on someone's impact on another person how it inspired that person to actually stay in college. This helped inspire us to think more about what leadership is and what it means to us. Time had passed and I got a good grasp on what message was coming across, or so I thought. It was the next day and we ended up making a list on what makes a good leader. I thought the goals, persistence, and development of the person lead to some becoming a great leader and accomplishing goals for the greater good. But, as we discussed further it was more about creating opportunities for everyone to development themselves for and dedicated too. This helped broaden my scope on what a leader truly is and what is necessary on overcoming obstacles. It was a good week for learning and developing. Thanks for stopping by the blog!
